Carlos Melo Alves was on CNN Portugal's Prime Time programme last night where, together with Henrique Machado, CNN Portugal's society editor, and journalist João Póvoa Marinheiro, he analysed the Public Prosecutor's Office's indictment in the email affair involving Benfica.
Carlos Melo Alves said that, from the point of view of ‘factual imputation’, it will be difficult to prove the alleged corruption offences. ‘The charges have to be concrete, precise and detailed. Here they are not.’
