16 January 2024 Melo Alves organises training session for journalists

Melo Alves was invited by tv station RTP - Rádio e Televisão de Portugal to organise a hybrid conference, made up of two modules, aimed at journalists from the society department.

The first module took place in December and early January 2024 and focused on legal concepts and the stages of criminal proceedings, with partner Carlos Melo Alves in charge. There will also be a third session on the secrecy of justice and the limits on journalists' actions in disseminating news.

Justice in general and the Code of Criminal Procedure are complex issues that need to be framed in the light of the current context and it is important for communication professionals to be continually trained on these issues.
